Mini and Little Bees (ages 3-6)
Join our introductory soccer programs designed specifically for young players ages 3 to 6 years old. The main objective of the BEES is to foster enjoyment while engaging players in activities suited to their developmental stage, all within a safe physical and emotional environment.
Our programs build a strong athletic foundation, foster a love for the game, and develop essential life skills. Our BEES players will learn how to keep their balance, jump, run, and change direction, while developing Ball Mastery skills. The BEES program will develop your child’s ability to control the ball with Toe Taps, Tic Toks, The Brake, Glue foot, and many other fun skills through age appropriate games.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Low coach-to-player ratio
- Engaging thematic activities
- Practice of locomotor movements (running, jumping, shuffling, skipping)
- Development of foot skills through running with the ball
- Introduction to sportsmanship and respect in sports

We're currently registering for the Fall 2026 program:
- Dates: Wednesdays, 5-5:45pm
- Duration: 8 weeks, starting 9/2/26 (no session on 10/21/26)
- Location: Lakelands Park (auxiliary field), Gaithersburg
- Cost: $250 (sibling discount available for Club families; contact Club admin for details)
- Uniform: BVBIA BEES shirt included with fee (when available)
- Prorated fee available if joining mid-program
bayse clinics
Our Black & Yellow School of Excellence (BAYSE) Clinic series is designed for players interested in taking their technical skills to the next level. In this 4-week clinic series, you’ll work with coaches trained in the Borussia Dortmund methodology.
These clinics produce intelligent and creative players who learn how to solve problems through small-sided games & cognitive exercises. Sessions will focus on:
- Core ball mastery
- First touch
- Attacking mechanics (dribbling, turning, shooting)
- Shot stopping and defending
- Confident decision making in games
These clinics provide that extra edge for BVBIA MD players interested in pursuing the BVBIA School of Excellence (SOE) – the pathway to our elite regional & national teams that connect directly to Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
We also welcome players outside of our club who are interested in advancing their skills in a positive, challenging environment and experiencing The BVB Way.
